Task-02 Sample Answer
Social media has transformed the way people communicate and access information, but its impact is a topic of debate. While some argue that it brings numerous benefits, I believe its negative effects on individuals and society outweigh the positives.
On the one hand, social media offers significant advantages. It allows people to connect across the globe, fostering communication and cultural exchange. For instance, platforms like Facebook and Instagram help families and friends stay in touch, even when geographically distant. Social media also provides a powerful tool for businesses and individuals to market their products and ideas, creating economic opportunities. Additionally, it serves as a source of information and awareness, enabling people to stay informed about global issues.
On the other hand, the negative effects of social media are far-reaching. It contributes to mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem, particularly among young people, due to unrealistic comparisons and online harassment. Social media also fosters misinformation, as unverified content spreads rapidly, leading to confusion and societal divisions. Moreover, excessive usage reduces face-to-face interactions, weakening relationships and promoting isolation. These issues have long-term consequences for both individual well-being and social cohesion.
In my opinion, despite its benefits, the adverse effects of social media are more significant. Governments, educators, and technology companies must work together to regulate content, promote digital literacy, and encourage balanced usage. Without such measures, the negative impacts of social media will continue to undermine its potential benefits.

Country C experienced the highest growth, peaking at 6.2% in 2023, following a significant rebound from a -2.0% decline in 2020. Similarly, Country E showed strong growth, with a notable rise to 7.0% in 2023 after a sharp dip of -5.0% in 2020.
In contrast, Country B faced the most volatility, with a sharp decline in 2020 (-4.0%) and recovery in 2021 and beyond, reaching 4.2% by 2023. Country A and Country D had more stable yet lower growth rates, fluctuating between modest increases and decreases, with Country D remaining the least volatile but the lowest overall growth.
Overall, while Countries C and E saw substantial growth by 2023, Countries B, A, and D exhibited more moderate and inconsistent economic performances during this period.
